Amber Campana, LAc
Amber developed a passion for natural medicine from a young age. Originally from California, some of her fondest memories include visiting the Chinese herbal markets in San Francisco’s Chinatown with her herbalist mother. A passion for helping people and her desire to follow in her mother’s footsteps lead her to pursue a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Amber received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Humboldt State University in Northern California. She graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, located in Portland Oregon with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Amber enjoys treating a wide variety of health-related issues and tailors each treatment to meet her patient’s specific needs. Her areas of interest include women’s health, pediatric care, digestive issues, pain management, mental health and palliative care.
Drawing from her own experiences and health journey, Amber believes that health education and patient-centered care are extremely valuable for recovery and overall well-being. She works with her patients to educate them on conditions being treated and the steps to take to improve their health and quality of life. Having studied many aspects of Chinese Medicine, Amber likes to incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities such as cupping, electro-acupuncture and herbal therapy into her treatments.
Currently Amber is pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. Through her doctoral program, she is enriching her knowledge of Chinese and Biomedicine and continuing to develop herself as a practitioner. She is expected to complete her DACM in April of 2021.
In her free time, Amber enjoys spending time with family, exploring the world, cheering on her favorite teams, and hiking around Oregon’s natural treasures.
